Position Overview
Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Industrial Security Program Security Representative to support SDA's mission. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
  • Provide daily multi-discipline analysis for SCI and collateral activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, DoW, DCID, ICD and DAF policy.
  • Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SCI and collateral data in support of US military operations, including Security Classification Guides.
  • Provide daily security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures and provide recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and plans; draft Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Prepare DD 254s and coordinate approval routing.
  • Conduct Program Protection Plan reviews and coordination to ensure OPSEC protections for Critical Program Information.
  • Conduct and document Information Protection and SCI compliance reviews and monitor, report, and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
  • Conduct investigation of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise, of classified or sensitive information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and generating damage assessments resulting from a loss of classified information.
  • General Security duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be TS cleared with SCI Eligibility, at minimum; #qinetiqclearedjob
  • 5 years+ related experience required
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
  • Must be a proactive, self-starter
  • Working knowledge of several security disciplines: Industrial, OSPEC, Information, Program Protection

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certificate (SFPC)
  • Air Force Security Manager Training Curriculum
  • DoD and IC experience preferred (DoD most critical)
