  • Prepare various shipping documents such as bills of lading, air freight bills, and export papers, extracting required information from sales orders.
  • Advise the Sales team of shipments on-hold and resolve questionable matters with Finance, Sales, and Shipping teams.
  • Contact transportation companies to schedule freight pick-up.
  • Date, pull and match original orders to shop copies for billing by Finance team.
  • Calculate shipping costs, insurance, and fuel surcharges for all UPS shipments.
  • Enter UPS orders in the system and apply freight to prepaid orders.
  • Enter shipping information into computer system.
  • Prepare Canadian paperwork for UPS and truck shipments.
  • Perform clerical duties in support of the
  • Production Office such as work order time sheets into computer system and other duties as assigned.
  • Freight bill approvals.
  • Hazmat and Dangerous Goods Shipment issues.
  • Assist in developing logistics plans and procedures.
  • Ensure customer and corporate requirements are met
