Job description Aero Instruments & Avionics, Inc. is a leader in the commercial aviation repair market, and we are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our growing team in Depew, NY. An Electronics Technician is responsible for the repair of electronic instrumentation and aircraft components. In this position, you will be testing, troubleshooting, and repairing various avionics components in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.  Responsibilities: Test, troubleshoot, and perform the service work required for maintenance of a variety of avionics components Utilize various types of specialized test equipment to diagnose issues with aircraft components Interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and instructions to properly perform duties Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools or soldering irons Document and report repair work using company software Interact with engineering and quality personnel as required  Required Qualifications/Skills: A.A.S. in Electronics or equivalent formal training Electronic/mechanical disassembly and reassembly experience Soldering experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude and outstanding integrity Strong technical and analytical skills  Preferred Qualifications/Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude High-precision soldering experience ESD & IPC certificationCAET certificationMilitary aviation maintenance experience, preferably at the I-Level (Intermediate Level) Additional Information: Background check is requiredMust pass a drug test in accordance with FAA drug testing program requirementsSchedule is 40 hours Monday - Friday Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour DOEApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.This position is located in Depew, NY.
