Job Description
AECOM is hiring in Knoxville, Tennessee for first-of-a-kind program with partners advancing innovative stellarator fusion technology to the world.

AECOM's broad technical capabilities, global footprint and experience in executing large scale projects uniquely position us to lead in traditional steam, thermal power generation and advanced nuclear technologies.
We are looking to connect with individuals with experience in Heavy Industrial or Power Generation with technical backgrounds and skills in the following:
  • Mechanical Engineers
  • Piping Designers (CAD)
  • Structural Engineers
  • Structural Designers (CAD)
  • Electrical Engineers
  • Electrical Designers (CAD)
  • Instrumentation & Controls Engineers
  • Project Controls and Scheduling

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
All rolls will require an in-person presence a few days a week in Knoxville, TN.
Engineering Team
Bachelor's Degree in Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering with at least 6 years of experience in Heavy Industrial and/or power generation markets.
Design Team
Piping, Structural, Electrical Designers (CAD)
HS + 6 years of relevant experience or AA/AS (US) + 4 years of relevant experience in Heavy Industrial and/or power generation design.
Expert level proficiency with AutoCad, Revit
Project Team:
Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience in Project Controls and Scheduling for large-scale projects in heavy industrial and/or power generation.
Preferred Qualifications
For leadership roles 12 years of experience.
Professional Engineering License
