Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) – OR/Sedation (West Mason Surgery Center)

2253 W Mason St Green Bay, WI 54303

Where You Will Work:

West Side Surgery Center – Outpatient Surgery (Ophthalmic day surgery)

The West Side Surgery Center is an excellent workplace, citing strong teamwork, compassionate patient care, active supervisor involvement, and high patient satisfaction. It also notes benefits such as good work‑life balance, easier vacation scheduling, and approachable surgeons.

Registered Nurse - supporting the OR and providing sedation to cataract surgery patients. Will also learn to circulate all eye procedures that are performed at the West Side Surgery Center.

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • OR experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location:

The West Side Surgery Center is an official department of Surgical Services of Aurora Bay Care Medical Center.  It is located approximately 14 miles from the Medical Center on West Mason Street.
