Job description

Role Description

The Advertising Production Coordinator supports the accurate and timely production of Three Bears Alaska's weekly sales flyers and radio advertising content across Alaska and Montana. This role organizes promotional information, updates advertising materials, coordinates revisions, and moves approved content through production and distribution.

Working under the direction of the Digital and Print Marketing Specialist, this position coordinates with Buyers, Pricing, Store Leadership, vendors, printers, and media partners. The role follows established creative direction and brand standards while maintaining close attention to pricing, product information, deadlines, and market-specific ad versions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Coordinate the weekly sales flyer schedule from item submission through proofing, approval, and distribution.
  • Collect promotional pricing, product descriptions, pack sizes, images, offer dates, disclaimers, and vendor details.
  • Build and revise weekly flyer layouts using approved templates, creative direction, and brand standards.
  • Maintain regional, market, and store-specific flyer versions with the correct products, prices, dates, and disclosures.
  • Proofread all flyer drafts for pricing, descriptions, images, spelling, dates, disclaimers, and consistency.
  • Route drafts for review, complete revisions, track approvals, and communicate missing information or deadline risks.
  • Prepare approved flyer files for print and digital distribution and coordinate delivery to production partners.
  • Help select weekly promotions for radio and convert approved offers into clear customer-facing copy and talking points.
  • Draft and revise radio scripts under the direction of the Digital and Print Marketing Specialist.
  • Verify radio prices, dates, market references, disclaimers, and product pronunciation before approval or recording.
  • Coordinate radio script reviews, revisions, recording needs, and media traffic deadlines.
  • Maintain organized calendars, checklists, source files, final artwork, scripts, approvals, and correction records.
  • Support consistent messaging across flyers, radio, digital promotions, email, social media, signage, and stores.
  • Assist with vendor-funded advertising documentation, image collection, and proof-of-performance materials.
  • Participate in production planning with the Digital and Print Marketing Specialist.
  • Support additional print, digital, in-store, and promotional projects as needed.
  • Perform other functions as necessary or assigned.

Experience/Education:

  • Associate degree or relevant coursework in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media, or a related field preferred.
  • One (1) or more years of experience in advertising production, marketing coordination, retail promotions, media, or a related field.
  • Experience with detailed, deadline-driven promotional materials requiring proofreading and version control. 
  • Working proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable tools; Microsoft Office Suite; and shared approval workflow

Pay Range: Starting at $22.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: 

  • Full-time
  • Evening, Weekends and Holidays are required.

  • LOCATION: In person
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Working Environment
 
Work is performed in a store setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment. Continuously standing, walking, reaching at/below shoulders, frequently lift/carry up to 20 pounds below waist, up to 50 pounds at waist/chest and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds above shoulders.
