Job Summary Plans, researches, develops, writes and supports multi‐channel content and public relations campaigns in line with organizational objectives. Writes, edits and analyzes short and long‐form copy across many projects (e.g., print, web, mobile, video, social, etc.), collaborating and cross‐training with the entire marketing + communications team to brainstorm, strengthen and maintain consistent on‐brand messaging. Broad understanding of marketing across channels (including the ability to closely work with designers, freelancers and technical writers) and the ability to dedicate considerable time and attention to understanding content strategy, departmental goals and business needs will be required. Overall Messaging & Strategy Execute and prepare multi‐channel, internal and external communication strategies aligned to business and marketing initiatives as directed for all regions across all lines of business and divisions. Understand, manage and strengthen various communication channels to drive marketing and communications objectives as part of the complete communications program. Develop complete understanding of corporate brand standards and guidelines and ensure consistency and integrity across all channels internal and external. Proactively identify, research and communicate project and business success stories to develop case studies and other materials. Execute communication projects as directed, then monitor and report performance metrics. Copywriting Strategize, develop and write copy for promotional materials, public relations material, marketing collateral, white papers, media advertising, website support and internal and external publications including blogs and email marketing to boost awareness, strengthen conversion and support increasing sales throughout the funnel. Edit, adapt and revise work to address feedback from marketing, client teams and internal business unit partners as needed. Assist with and support social media content creation and posts. Ensure all content, written and visual, aligns with Harris' distinct brand voice. Provide edits and feedback where appropriate. Proof all content materials prior to publication, including material with other authors as assigned/directed. Collaborate with marketing team members and project, sales and executive leaders across the business to manage and maintain momentum on projects from concept development through final delivery and metrics monitoring. Public Relations Work within Public Relations software tools (e.g., Cision) to build and maintain media contact lists to support issuance of news and press releases. Collaborate with existing and identifying new media partners, publications and opportunities to publish thought leadership content that maintains and strengthens Harris' visibility and public image. Address inquiries from media and other parties. Develop and maintain a publications + PR calendar and database of media contacts throughout the year. Partner with marketing administrators and assistants to coordinate and/or partner with foundations, non‐profits, government agencies, etc., to enhance public image of the organization. Support writing/editing of speaker bios and other associated tasks as assigned. Assist with engagement activities including client surveys, client recognition/testimonials, groundbreakings and dedication events. Support writing/editing submission for awards submissions. Misc. Comfortable with specific marketing and sales technologies and/or capable of learning new systems/technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Cosential, Cision, etc.), CRM tools, Data Asset Management products to add/extract and manage tasks/information as required. Comfortable with and curious about artificial intelligence, prepared to incorporate workflow support and assist in development and deployment of ongoing AI initiatives at the departmental and organization levels. Ability to effectively network inside and outside the organization, establishing and maintaining positive and informative relationships especially throughout the organization and broader industry through effective, frequent communication and collaboration. Coordinates and/or supports multi‐channel campaigns at the local, regional and national scale by effectively identifying and communicating with key stakeholders, team members, vendors as needed, etc. Developing, planning, coordinating, producing video content in alignment with brand storytelling, narrative and video content standards. Manage post‐production processes of reviewing, suggesting edits, obtaining and ensuring implementation of SME and safety approvals, routing to necessary approval channels and creating communication plans to execute new video releases.
