The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the University of Vermont/University of Vermont Medical Center invites applications for a board-eligible or board-certified clinician educator endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level on the Clinical Scholar Pathway. This position will be primarily based at Central Vermont Medical Center with some involvement at the University of Vermont Medical Center. The selected candidate will be an MD/DO or MD/DO plus PhD with specialty training in diabetes. Priority will be given to persons who have experience with providing endocrine clinical services in a university setting.
The selected candidate will join a busy and collegial program that is the sole provider of endocrinology and specialty diabetes services to a large geographical area. Opportunities exist to interact with research programs focused on the pathogenesis and therapy of diabetes, obesity, and their complications, along with diabetes health care delivery, and osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. Burlington and Berlin both offer beautiful surroundings and an excellent family atmosphere.
