Your job duties include establishing the project's budget with your client, conducting market research, and coordinating each phase to ensure your client approves of the way the advertising campaign progresses. Advertising account executives should not be confused with corporate executives who run advertising companies, though some account executives also have senior management positions within their companies.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Digital Account Executive is a hunter who drives new digital revenue for IndoorMedia โ€” primarily by expanding our existing base of print advertising customers into integrated digital clients. Your first and best opportunity is the book of businesses already running cart and register-tape advertising: youโ€™ll bolt the right digital product onto the print product they already buy (Cart โ†’ DigitalBoost, Tape โ†’ LoyaltyShark, and the full suite beyond). Once that base is fully penetrated, youโ€™ll pursue true net-new business in the market. This is a proactive, quota-carrying sales role for someone who loves the chase, thrives on activity, and knows how to turn an existing relationship into a biggerย

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert existing print clients into digital + integrated advertisers
  • Prospect aggressively โ€” work the existing customer list first; once exhausted, hunt true new business in-market.
  • Sell the full digital suite: DigitalBoost (geofenced display), FindLocal, MapBoost (PPC), LoyaltyShark (loyalty), and Websites.
  • Pair print + digital using IndoorMediaโ€™s playbook โ€” match the clientโ€™s growth goal (get discovered vs. get them back) to the right product combination.
  • Run consultative discovery with SMB owners and decision-makers to diagnose needs and prescribe solutions.
  • Manage a healthy pipeline in the CRM โ€” keep activity, forecasts, and notes current and accurate.
  • Deliver proposals and demos that connect digital outcomes to real business results.
  • Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue quotas.
  • Partner with the Digital Readiness Champion for clean onboarding and to set every account up for renewal from day one.
  • Stay sharp on product capabilities, pricing, and the local digital advertising landscape.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience; digital advertising or media sales strongly preferred
  • Proven hunter - documented track record of hitting quota and closing new business
  • comfortable selling to SMB owners across verticalsย (restaurants, auto, retail, salons, services).ย
  • High activity tolerance - cold calls, follow-ups, in-market visits.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing: display, PPC/search, SEO, loyalty, websites.
  • CRM discipline and strong pipeline-management habits.
  • excellent communication, presentation, and consultative-selling skills.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, resilient, and money-motivated.
