Job Summary:

Adventist Health Roseville is seeking a Sr. Buyer for a fulltime position with 8hour day shifts. We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual who is able to work onsite at our Roseville, CA location.

Oversees and assists in the procurement and distribution of supplies and equipment purchases. Researches the product, ensures there is contract compliance, ensures order confirmation, and negotiates with vendor. Assists with product handling such as product substitution, product transportation and storage, and inventory management and ordering. Applies substantial knowledge of the job and experience to complete a wide range of activities with varying difficulty. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Four years' relevant experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees and assists in the purchasing of all stock supplies.
  • Maintains supply inventories and ensures cleanliness and safety of storage facility.
  • Performs product research and pricing as needed by department. Assists in product evaluation and the cost analysis.
  • Prepares corporate audit work papers relating to Accounts Payable and year-end entries and reports.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
