Schedule: PRN / Flexible Hours (Weekend & Evening Availability Preferred)
About Us
Advantage Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care. Our mission is to ensure dignity, comfort, and quality of life for every patient and family we serve. We are looking for caring and dependable State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our team on a Full Time basis.
Position Summary
The Hospice STNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the plan of care. This role is ideal for STNAs who are seeking flexible hours, additional income opportunities, and a rewarding way to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance to hospice patients, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families during end-of-life care.
  • Assist nursing staff by reporting changes in patient condition promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Support the hospice mission by delivering care with compassion, respect, and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification (required).
  • Previous hospice or home health experience preferred, but not required - training provided.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused.
  • Flexible and available to work nights and/or weekends on a PRN basis.
