Purchasing Agent

(Onsite Only)-Miami


Are you a highly organized, analytical purchasing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, inventory-driven environment? We are seeking a Purchasing Agent to join a growing organization in Miami, FL. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the uninterrupted flow of materials needed to support daily operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong supplier management experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proven ability to balance inventory while optimizing purchasing decisions.


What You'll Do

  • Manage purchasing activities for a high-volume product portfolio.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels using Min/Max planning methodologies.
  • Analyze inventory trends, usage patterns, and forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Create and manage purchase orders while tracking deliveries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supply agreements when appropriate.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure inventory availability and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and product availability.
  • Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to support purchasing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory turnover and reduce excess inventory.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory, or supplier management experience.
  • Strong background working directly with suppliers and vendor relationships.
  • Experience managing high inventory volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment strategies, and Min/Max systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
