This role blends plant-level troubleshootingwith strategic optimization, requiring both a big-picture systems-level perspective and strong field engagement. The position supports end-to-end production from feed through final product generation and contributes to continuous improvement, capital projects, and process standardization. The Process Engineer plays a key role in advancing datadriven and digitally enabled process optimization across operations to drive sustained performance improvements.
This position is based in Denver with up to 50% travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide process engineering and metallurgical support to site operations, including realtime troubleshooting of plant variability, losses, and production constraints
  • Partner with operations supervisors and operators to resolve process, product quality, and throughput issues across flotation, DMS, dewatering, and granulation circuits
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to increase recovery, throughput, uptime, and product quality, with emphasis on highmargin production
  • Analyze process data, trends, and operating conditions to develop actionable insights that reduce variability, operating cost, and rework
  • Design, execute, and evaluate process trials and performance testing; document results and standardize successful improvements
  • Establish and maintain operating parameters and process documentation, including SOPs, BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, and material and energy balances
  • Support mineral processing circuit design and optimization (crushing, sizing, flotation, DMS, dewatering, and granulation), including feasibility analysis for plant upgrades and new systems
  • Lead capital and continuous improvement projects, including scope development, technical evaluation, implementation support, and performance tracking
  • Champion advanced process monitoring, predictive analytics, and nextgeneration process control initiatives, translating operational challenges into scalable, datadriven solutions that deliver measurable economic value
