Job Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA)

  • Payroll processing proficiency
  • Strong business acumen and consultative skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Payroll processing including timecard management and coordination with payroll services.
  • Benefits administration including enrollment, changes, billing reconciliation, and employee support.
  • Administer and maintain compliance records.
  • Maintain and update employee policies including handbook.
  • Maintain employee, medical, and HR files.
  • Assist employees with compliance-related matters.
  • Maintain HR ISO accreditation.
  • Support recruitment activities.
  • Assist with planning and administration of company meetings and events.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Serve as HR consultant to assigned departments to understand workforce needs.
  • Provide coaching to supervisors on performance, corrective actions, and employee relations.
  • Support workforce planning, succession strategies, and skill-gap assessments.
  • Guide leaders through performance management processes.
  • Support organizational development, change initiatives, and communication planning.
  • Enhance employee engagement strategies and culture initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and recommend data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5โ€“10 years HR compliance and operations experience
  • Preferred: Experience supporting leaders in an HRBP capacity
