Description

We are seeking a driven, results focused Manufacturing Engineer II to lead process improvements with a strong 5S and lean focus, driving efficiency, organization, and standardization across manufacturing operations.


Requirements


Job Responsibilities

  • Drive process improvements and increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead implementation and sustainment of 5S standards and culture across production areas.
  • Conduct 5S audits, track scores, and drive continuous improvement actions.ย 
  • Analyze current state workflows and develop future state solutions.ย 
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and construction teams.ย 
  • Develop standard work, line layouts, and production processes.
  • Track KPIs and support data driven decision making.
  • Lead problem solving initiatives (root cause, flow, optimization)
  • Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.ย 
  • Train and coach teams on 5S, lean principles, and best practices.


Job Skills & Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-6 years in manufacturing or process engineering.ย 
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.ย 
  • Experience leading cross functional initiatives.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.ย 
  • Proven experience implementing and sustaining 5S programs in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean manufacturing, 5S, Value Stream Mapping.ย ย 
  • Cost reduction and process optimization.
  • AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM360, Power BI, Visio, Airtable, Smartsheet, MS Office.
