Job description

About Machina Labs:
Engineering moves at software speed. Manufacturing doesn't. Yet.
Machina Labs is changing that. We build intelligent, software-defined factories that produce complex metal structures directly from digital design. By integrating advanced metal forming, robotics, and automated production inside a flexible factory architecture, we enable customers to move from prototype to production in weeks, not years.
Backed by Lockheed Martin, Toyota, and NVIDIA, we're building the manufacturing infrastructure that defense, aerospace, and advanced mobility programs will run on.
If you want to work on hard problems that matter and see them fly, drive, and defend, this is the place.
Job Description:
Machina Labs is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the daily operations, organization, and upkeep of our fast-paced manufacturing and office facilities. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and efficient workplace while supporting facility maintenance, vendor coordination, employee workspace needs, and general site operations.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in maintaining an organized workplace, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, mechanically inclined, and service oriented. Success in this role comes from being dependable, hands-on, and comfortable supporting a variety of facility and operational needs within a growing advanced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance, housekeeping, or safety concerns.
  • Support the upkeep and organization of office, warehouse, manufacturing, and common areas.
  • Complete basic facility repairs and maintenance tasks, including furniture assembly, shelving installation, painting, and minor plumbing or electrical repairs as appropriate.
  • Coordinate workspace moves, office setups, furniture installations, and facility improvement projects.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance scheduling and coordinate service calls with vendors and contractors.
  • Receive and coordinate deliveries, shipments, and building-related services.
  • Maintain inventory of office, janitorial, breakroom, and facility supplies and replenish as needed.
  • Support employee events, meetings, catering, and general workplace operations.
  • Move furniture, equipment, materials, and supplies throughout the facility.
  • Assist with maintaining building systems and equipment by coordinating inspections and service providers.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives by maintaining first aid kits, eyewash stations, PPE supplies, safety signage, and required postings.
  • Participate in routine facility and safety inspections and help ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Travel between Machina Labs facilities as needed to support maintenance requests, workplace projects, equipment moves, and operational priorities.
  • Respond to facility requests in a timely manner while providing excellent internal customer service.
  • Perform other facilities and workplace support duties as assigned.

Required Background & Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, workplace operations, warehouse, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and general building maintenance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial facilities.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and workplace safety practices.
  • Experience coordinating facility vendors and contractors.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience with inventory management or purchasing of facility supplies.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing and able to travel between multiple Machina Labs facilities as business needs require.

*This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this role. Duties and responsibilities may change based on business needs.
$23 - $28 an hour
