We are excited to announce that we have an opening in ourย Clarksburg, MDย office for a Senior Digital Electrical Engineer. This role reports to the Product Support Engineering Manager.

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Work across multiple disciplines supporting manufacturing activities related to our communications and helmet mounted display market.
  • Analyze product failure data and malfunction testing trends, troubleshoot yield issues, and recommend product improvements, including test improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis on field failures and support continuous product improvements.
  • Effectively troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities. Maintains productive working relationships with all team members.
  • Complete assigned tasks with a high level of quality in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Effectively support and communicate to management status, issues, needs and ideas.
  • Support qualification of obsolete, not recommended for new design, and last time buy components.
  • Act as liaison between manufacturing diagnostic technicians and engineers on existing products and during transfer of new products into manufacturing.
  • Maintain lab, equipment, and work areas. ย

  • U.S. Citizenship required. -ย Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.ย 
  • BSEE/MSEE or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing / production environment providing engineering support.
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of electronics, read schematics, interpret assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  • Working knowledge of test equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters, etc.
  • Experience utilizing software tool Lab View and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of time.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and a strong, dependable work ethic.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.ย 

The hourly pay range for this role isย $ 117,503.00 - $150,143.00 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 5%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.ย
