Bucks County Community College is seeking qualified individuals to join our team of talented ESL instructors for both day and/or evening courses. We are seeking instructors for all three campuses (Newtown, Bristol, and Perkasie) as well as online.

Responsibilities include:

  • Instruct ESL students across all four domains of English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening.)

  • Create and deliver effective lessons that engage students.

  • Teach according to established course objectives.

  • Maintain accurate student records (attendance, contact information, etc.)

  • Attend meetings and professional development workshops to develop instructional skills.

  • Work collaboratively with other ESL instructors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with a TESOL certification.

  • Must also have the ability to communicate effectively in English (native or near-native proficiency)

  • Experience with SMART technology, and online learning platforms highly desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

  • Experience teaching adults
