Qualifications:
  • Highly organized with close attention to detail.

  • Experience troubleshooting problems, finding, and implementing solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work with foreign adult students, teachers, and the community in a positive manner.
  • Expertise in Excel; demonstrated experience with other MS Office applications, and related computing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work and contribute to a cooperative, team environment with students, staff and community and business associates.
  • Ability to clearly communicate Adult Education programs to the public.
  • Proficiency test(s) will be required.
  • 52 Weeks
  • Monday-Thursday 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Description:
  • Review program, community, and state data components to ensure accuracy and completion according to state and federal guidelines and timelines.
  • Responsible for overseeing state and local data reports.
  • Collect and analyze data for quality improvement purposes and state compliance.
  • Ensure data in state and local computerized systems is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Enter, modify, and track data on state and local computerized systems.
  • Provide weekly data management updates to supervisor.
  • Compile student testing data for the purpose of preparing reports or requests from administration.
  • Determine appropriate individualized assessments for students /score and analyze student testing and assessments.
  • Oversee tutors and testing proctors.
  • Monitor students' academic progress and intervene with tutoring as needed.
  • Coordinate with tutors to facilitate/schedule individual and small group learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
  • Assist in the training of staff on departmental processes, procedures and UCS policies.
  • Audit files
  • Respond to a variety of program-specific inquiries from internal and external parties for the purpose of providing information regarding the Adult Education program.
  • Register and schedule students.
  • Maintain up to date student files (CA60).
  • Other duties as assigned.
