Job description

Responsible for working directly with program participants providing foundational skills for youth and/or adults to achieve that academic and career goals. Develops and implements instructional activities that improve workplace skills. Responsible for assessing student skill level and evaluating progress. Instructor may also assist with career guidance, interviewing skills, resume writing, assessment and follow up for participants.

  • Bachelor’s degree in education with an emphasis in math, computer science or related field
  • Two years of experience instructing for adult learning or vocational education classes
  • Additional experience assisting adults in career preparatory activities is preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for day-to-day job performance
