About the Role

The Ads Platform Engineering teams build advertising systems and integrations that power the delivery of ads using our world‑class content delivery ecosystem. The Ads Pricing and Packaging team is responsible for developing cutting‑edge inventory management systems which support various monetization strategies, including dynamic pricing, rate‑card management, product packaging, inventory segmentation, and yield optimization. We are looking for highly motivated engineers working in the advertising space who are excited to join us on this journey.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on developing inventory management systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing yield optimization systems, with a deep knowledge of inventory valuation.
  • Experience in building systems for dynamic pricing, sell‑through rates, managing rate cards, segmenting and packaging inventory, and overseeing yield management.
  • Strong understanding of auction mechanics and experience building systems for reserve pricing.
  • Designed data models, platform abstractions, and public APIs to facilitate smooth interoperability with internal ads platform teams as well as seamless integrations with external order management systems.
  • General understanding of the advertising marketplace and landscape, with a focus on publisher‑side challenges like optimizing fill rates and maximizing revenue in the context of inventory management.
  • Track record of technical leadership across multiple teams, setting architectural direction and influencing cross‑functional roadmaps.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building, and mentoring skills.
Nice to Haves
  • Contributed to an ads industry technology standard (e.g. VAST, OpenRTB) or worked on an industry consortium effort, working group, etc.
  • Familiarity with legal compliance and the changing landscape of ads regulations around the world.
  • Experience working in the CTV space and knowledge of its unique constraints.
Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $499,000.00 - $900,000.00. Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary, with the option to allocate your compensation between salary and stock options.
