Job description

The Retail Finance Process, Analytics, Reporting, and Technology (PART) team is looking for a motivated analyst to support Apple's growth, both top and bottom line. As part of this team, you will partner with business and finance teams to understand commercial initiatives and build the reporting, analysis, and tools that keep our finance organization operating efficiently and making well informed decisions.
Description
You will own internal reporting, applications, and data optimization deliverables that enable the WW Retail Sales Finance Organization to leverage opportunities and improve key finance capabilities. You’ll work independently with complex data sets, generated from equally complex business processes, and bring critical thinking to problems that are not always clearly defined.

Preferred Qualifications
MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or quantitative field (Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Operations Research)
Knowledge of SQL and working with large datasets
Familiarity with people/HR systems and their data structures (e.g. ADP, Workday)
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling
Experience building interactive data visualizations and telling a clear story with data (e.g. Tableau, Streamlit, Shiny)
A basic understanding of data design pattern differences between transactional ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and analytical data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake)
Extensive problem solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to adjust direction as priorities change
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results of analysis in business terms
Capable of conducting data driven analysis on problems of diverse scope
Ability to self-start and operate independently, comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of relevant finance data analysis experience (FP&A, retail finance, revenue analytics, cost analysis etc.)
BS Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or quantitative field (Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Operations Research)
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $114,900 and $172,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
