We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing home leadership team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management, clinicians, and other team members.
  • Actively participate in the development and achievement of nursing department goals, including staff development functions and educational programming.
  • Assist in the implementation of and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice consistent with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff to deliver efficient resident care in accordance with staffing plans and state-mandated requirements.
  • Collaborate with department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring an accurate and effective documentation system.
  • Provide direct resident care as needed, ensuring effective interaction with residents and families.
  • Deliver innovative and responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and processes that improve outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, active, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.

  • At least one (1) year of management experience.
