As the Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator, you will provide primary operational support for student recruitment, yield, communications, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) activities across SEAS programs, with additional support for admissions and application review operations. You will help ensure that prospective student engagement is timely, accurate, well-coordinated, and responsive.
You will support recruitment strategy by managing inquiries, coordinating recruitment events, assisting with communication production, maintaining CRM data, supporting student ambassador activities, and managing follow-up efforts. The position also contributes to selected admissions and enrollment processes that strengthen the prospective student experience and support SEAS enrollment goals.
This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by University Staff United, AFT Local 284, AFL-CIO, which represents Employees in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
This position may be eligible for remote and/or flexible work opportunities at the discretion of the hiring department. Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change dependent on the business needs of the hiring department, throughout the course of employment. It is expected that this position will be required to be on campus two (2) days per week.
This role will require travel and occasional evenings or weekends required during recruitment cycles. Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities*
Recruitment Operations and Prospective Student Support
  • Respond to prospective student inquiries across email, phone, and virtual channels, providing accurate guidance on SEAS programs, admissions requirements, deadlines, and funding timelines.
  • Create and deliver highly effective presentations about SEAS programs and initiatives to internal and external audiences. Plan and execute recruitment and yield events, managing all logistics including outreach, registration, staffing, materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Represent SEAS at recruitment events and fairs, engaging prospective students and supporting timely lead follow-up; travel and occasional evenings or weekends required during recruitment cycles.
  • Coordinate student ambassadors and volunteers while contributing to recruitment content development, including copy drafting, collateral support, and website updates.

Communications and Data Management
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized CRM records for prospects, applicants, events, and recruitment activities, completing data tasks such as list pulls, imports, tagging, and quality checks.
  • Produce timely, accurately segmented recruitment and yield communications aligned with approved strategy, inclusive of digital and print materials, email content, flyers, brochures, and infographics, in collaboration with internal communications team.
  • Track engagement, event attendance, inquiry trends, and follow-up needs to support data-informed recruitment planning.
  • Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and briefing materials while identifying and escalating recurring CRM or workflow issues as appropriate.

Application Workflow and Administrative Support
  • Support accurate and timely application reviews through document checks, status tracking, and deadline follow-up.
  • Provide consistent applicant support throughout the application, review, and enrollment cycle.
  • Support maintenance of accurate tracking records related to applications, decisions, and enrollment activities.
  • Assist in preparation of organized materials and reports to support admissions decisions and enrollment follow-up.

Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in one or more of the following contexts: admissions, recruitment, student services, program or event coordination, outreach, customer service in a higher education context, or related work.
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM systems, application platforms, or enterprise tools to manage records, communications, or workflows (e.g., Salesforce, Slate, M-Pathways, Business Objects, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work during high-volume or seasonal periods.
  • Ability to handle student records and confidential information in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide professional, student-centered service to students, applicants, or other external audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple teams and contribute to inclusive, student-centered environments.
