Full Time / On-Site Position

We are seeking a compassionate, relationship‑driven Admissions Counselor to serve as a trusted guide for families, referral partners, and professionals navigating the admissions journey. This role is ideal for someone who blends sales acumen, empathy, responsiveness, and professionalism—and who believes that exceptional admissions experiences are the foundation of exceptional care.

New Haven serves adolescent girls (ages 14–18) and their families through trauma-informed, relationship-based care. With campuses in Spanish Fork and Saratoga Springs, we offer a warm, home‑like setting that blends therapeutic support with accredited academics. Our focus areas include trauma recovery, family systems, emotional regulation, and mental health.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate, qualify, and convert leads by engaging target markets, responding promptly to inquiries, and guiding families through the admissions process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, including educational consultants, therapists, hospitals, and allied programs.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable, compassionate point of contact for parents and professionals, clearly communicating program offerings, admissions criteria, and timelines.
  • Schedule and conduct virtual and on‑campus tours, outreach visits, and local travel to programs, conferences, and marketing events.
  • Track, document, and report all admissions and sales activities to ensure coordinated follow‑up, strong engagement, and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions Director and cross‑functional teams to support sales strategy, market development, and enrollment goals.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, including materials development, social media support, website updates, and referral‑partner communications.
  • Deliver trainings and presentations to internal teams and referral partners, reinforcing hospitality standards, customer service excellence, and a unified admissions experience.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 1-3 years of relevant experience in admissions, mental health, healthcare sales, behavioral health, education, or a related people‑facing role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship‑building skills, with comfort supporting families through sensitive and time‑critical decisions.
  • Highly organized and responsive, with excellent attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a compassionate, mission‑driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally, attend outreach events, and participate in on‑call rotations as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience with New Haven strongly preferred.
Benefits
  • Access to professional growth using our cutting‑edge strategies and trainings with our exceptional leaders.
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance– Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.
  • Paid Parental Leave– Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non‑exempt.
  • Life & Disability Coverage– Company‑paid life, AD&D, and long‑term disability; voluntary life and optional short‑term disability available.
  • 401(k) with Company Match– Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.
  • PTO & Holidays– Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)– Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.

New Haven is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community. We actively seek to recruit and support a broadly diverse staff who contribute to our excellence, diversity of viewpoints and experiences, and relevance in a global society.
