Job description

East Ridge Nurse and Rehab is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for our Skilled Nursing Facility. We are looking for a strong clinical leader with SNF experience and charge nurse or supervisor experience!

Seeking 3pm-11pm.

JOB SUMMARY:

The RN Supervisor assists the Director of Nursing in maintaining the standards of

resident care, advising the health care staff, department heads, and Healthcare

Administrator in matters related to nursing services.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as

exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Recognizes significant changes in the condition of residents and takes

necessary actions.

• Attend in–service training and education sessions as assigned.

• Makes rounds throughout shifts to all the residents in order to evaluate their

immediate physical condition.

• Supervises rehabilitation procedures, such as body alignment and bed

positioning, transfer activities, range of motion, bowel and bladder training,

and skin and pressure sore care.

• Monitors administration of medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Performs and or/assists with resident care as necessary.

• Checks resident’s charts for specific treatments and medication orders.

• Checks, gives and records medications, gives treatments and performs other

professional services ordered or required as necessary.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

• Current license in the state of Florida.

• Current CPR certification.

• Minimum of one year of Geriatric nursing background

• Charge nurse experience preferred.
