We are seeking a Syndication Loan Closing Administrator to join Zions Bancorporation. The Syndication Loan Closing Administrator plays a key role in supporting syndication and commercial real estate loan closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the documentation process. This position leverages strong analytical, research, and communication skills to interpret complex loan and legal documents, resolve moderately complex issues, and contribute to organizational objectives. The role requires attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to provide guidance to less experienced team members. You will interact primarily with managers and internal customers, with occasional external customer contact, and help drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
  • Support syndication and commercial real estate loan closing processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.

  • Review, interpret, and process complex loan and legal documentation.

  • Apply solid working knowledge of loan principles, construction due diligence, and risk management.

  • Resolve moderately complex problems using sound judgment within defined practices and procedures.

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and processes.

  • Provide audit, customer service, and problem resolution support.

  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced loan specialists/closers as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, relationship managers, internal/external legal counsel, and credit management.

  • Utilize various word processing and spreadsheet software for loan documentation and reporting.

  • Contribute to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field required.

  • 1+ years of syndication, commercial real estate documentation/closing, or similar experience, including reading and interpreting loan and legal documentation.

  • Combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

  • Knowledge of syndication, commercial real estate loan closing, lending compliance, and loan systems.

  • Solid working knowledge of loan principles, construction due diligence, and risk management.

  • Strong analytical, research, and problem resolution skills.

  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work under limited supervision and proactively seek assistance when needed.

  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
