Job description

Nursing Admin Coordinator

The Nursing Admin Coordinator provides clerical and secretarial support to the Nurse Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates Department of Nursing staffing by utilizing and identifying available nursing resources, under the direction of Nursing Management, based upon unit needs and staff/census fluctuations to maintain cost-effective staffing patterns.
  • Supports Nursing Management in maintaining accurate demographic, skill, and scheduling information on all nursing employees in a computerized scheduling system.
  • Maintains and keeps confidential departmental employee files
  • Provides administrative support to the Nursing Management Team as appropriate and as available. Responsible for payroll.

Requirements:

  • Education: HS Diploma/GED
  • Experience: 1-3 years related experience. Must have ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; multi-task, problem solve

Pay Range: $21.06 to $31.59 Based On Experience
