ChristianaCare's Nutrition Services team is dedicated to helping individuals achieve healthier lives through personalized nutrition counseling, education, and support.

The practice serves patients with a wide range of nutritional needs, including diabetes management, cardiovascular health, weight loss, prenatal nutrition, food allergies, and digestive health concerns. Through a collaborative, patient-centered approach, the team develops individualized care plans that empower patients to make lasting lifestyle changes and improve their overall health.

This position serves as a key point of contact for patients and contributes to the smooth coordination of scheduling, communication, and administrative support within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Work Schedule:

Duties / Responsibilities:
TheMedical Office Assistant Ihandles payments, verifies insurance coverage, coordinates referrals, and reconciles daily appointments and payments. They manage communications by answering calls, relaying messages, and using EMR systems to coordinate with providers and staff. The role includes updating patients, scheduling tests and appointments, maintaining medical records, resolving patient issues, supporting administrative tasks, and following safety protocols, with additional duties as needed.

Position Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.

  • Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.

Hourly Pay Range: $17.67 - $25.62 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
