The Greens at Weaverville is seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team.

If you have experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, healthcare billing, Medicaid/Medicare, accounts receivable, and collections, we want to hear from you!

As our Business Office Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the financial and administrative operations of the facility while working closely with residents, families, department leaders, and our leadership team.

Business Office Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage resident billing, accounts receivable, and collections

  • Maintain and follow up on Medicaid, Medicare, insurance, and private-pay accounts

  • Oversee accounts payable and other business office processes

  • Assist with admissions paperwork, insurance verification, and financial documentation

  • Maintain accurate financial records, reports, and resident account information

  • Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely follow-up on accounts

  • Communicate professionally with residents and families regarding billing and financial questions

  • Collaborate with Admissions, Nursing, Administration, and other department leaders

  • Assist with payroll and additional administrative functions as needed

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility policies and procedures

  • Assist with training and supervision of business office staff, when applicable

Business Office Manager Qualifications
  • Previous Business Office Manager or healthcare business office experience strongly preferred

  • Skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of related business office experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, insurance billing, accounts receivable, and collections

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic healthcare systems, and financial software

  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
