Job description

The Azgari Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to education, workforce readiness, and economic mobility for foster and transitioning youth in the Austin, Texas area. We are seeking organized, reliable volunteers to support our operations team as we grow our programs and community impact.

As an Administrative & Operations Support Volunteer, you will help keep our work running smoothly behind the scenes so our staff can focus on direct service to youth.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Scheduling support: coordinating meetings, follow-ups, and calendar management
  • Data entry and record-keeping in our CRM and program tracking systems
  • Communications support: drafting emails, organizing outreach lists, or assisting with newsletters
  • Research: gathering information on grants, community resources, or partner organizations
  • Event logistics support: helping coordinate workshops, orientations, and community events
  • General office and administrative tasks as needed

What we're looking for:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) or similar tools
  • Passion for equity, youth development, or social services โ€” lived experience with foster care or related systems is a strength, not a barrier
  • Reliable communication and follow-through

Schedule: Fully flexible โ€” you set your own pace and schedule. We will work around your availability.

Location: Hybrid โ€” volunteers may work remotely or in person in Austin, TX. Your preference is welcome.

This is a meaningful opportunity to directly support an organization changing the trajectory of young people's lives. We are grateful for every hour you invest with us.
