Operations & Workplace Coordinator (6-Month Contract)

The Operations & Workplace Coordinator (6-Month Contract) plays a key role in keeping Every Man Jack's workplace and product operations running smoothly. This hands-on position is responsible for managing the product closet and inventory, coordinating shipments, maintaining organized office and storage spaces, and supporting day-to-day workplace operations. As a central resource for multiple departments, this role helps ensure products, supplies, and workspaces are organized, accessible, and ready to support the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and energized by creating efficient systems and solving operational challenges. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, enjoy balancing physical and administrative work, and take pride in providing exceptional support to cross-functional teams. This six-month contract offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a growing, mission-driven consumer packaged goods company while making an immediate impact on the employee experience and overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Closet & Inventory Management

  • Maintain and organize the Every Man Jack product closet and storage areas to ensure products are easy to locate and access.
  • Receive, unpack, and properly store incoming product shipments and samples.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with regular inventory counts and stock audits.
  • Track product movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Restock frequently requested products and communicate inventory needs to the Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Support employee, retailer, agency, and partner product requests by pulling, packing, and preparing shipments.
  • Assist with product sample management for meetings, events, photoshoots, and retail presentations.

Shipping & Logistics Support

  • Coordinate outgoing shipments, including packing boxes, printing shipping labels, and preparing packages for carrier pickup.
  • Assist with FedEx, UPS, and other shipping coordination.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
  • Break down and dispose of shipping materials, cardboard, and packaging while maintaining clean and organized workspaces.

Office Operations

  • Help maintain an organized office, storage, and shared spaces.
  • Support kitchen and office supply inventory, including restocking supplies as needed.
  • Assist with office upkeep, including loading/unloading dishwashers and maintaining common areas.
  • Coordinate and support team lunches, meetings, and occasional office events.
  • Help manage Basecamp storage organization and workspace efficiency initiatives.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams on special projects.
  • Assist with seasonal inventory cleanups and organization projects.
  • Support company events, product launches, and internal initiatives as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organization, efficiency, and inventory processes.

The Candidate

You're highly organized and dependable, and you enjoy creating order out of chaos. You're comfortable with both hands-on operational work and administrative tasks, and you take pride in maintaining organized systems and spaces. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with physical products, and are eager to gain experience within a growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) company.

Capabilities & Skills Required

  • Passion for an active, outdoor lifestyle, sustainability, and men's personal care.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain highly organized physical and digital systems.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities while adapting to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, identify needs proactively, and take initiative without constant direction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to recommend more efficient ways of working.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset when supporting employees, retailers, agencies, and external partners.
  • Ability to safely lift and move boxes weighing up to 40–50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and organizing inventory throughout the day.
  • Experience with inventory management, shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or office management is preferred.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail), shipping platforms (FedEx, UPS), and learning new systems quickly.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through with a reputation for reliability and dependability.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
  • Comfortable working in an office and storage environment with frequent movement throughout the day.
