Job description

Relay Express, a leading logistics company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative and Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a patent looking to work while their children are in school or a college student. The focus and responsibilities of this position are to facilitate all aspects of our cross-dock operation, logistical warehousing, and contractor support. This person will meet all service requirements while adhering to the policies and procedures of Relay Express. Inc. The candidate must possess strong relationship skills and maintain a positive solution-based attitude at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a complete understanding of Relay Express' warehousing/logistics, services programs, customers and service parameter definitions.
  • Follow customer specific SOP and insure all inbound and outbound completed daily.
  • Responsible for keeping the warehouse looking professional, clean, safe, and organized.
  • Sign for and complete all incoming and inbound deliveries according to customer requirements.
  • Pull parts for all outgoing orders, making sure that you have read each orders specific requirement(s). Ex: correct quantity, contact names, part numbers, serial numbers, and return packs, etc.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and bi-weekly cycle counts as needed.

· Efficiently and safely unload and load freight from inbound and outbound trucks using forklifts and other equipment as needed.

· Make deliveries as needed for support.

  • Maintain professional attire, language, and business demeanor in all dealings with customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Physical Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and driver availability.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, contractors, and the operations team.

Compensation amp; Benefits:

· Schedule: M-F 10:00-14:00
