Job description

Highly Experienced Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team.

You will perform a combination of various administrative and clinical tasks. Administrative responsibilities include greeting patients as they arrive, answering telephones, must have good phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and updating and filing patients’ medical records. Clinical responsibilities include by not limited to taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician during examinations.

Medical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

Greet patients, answer phones, and take messages

Schedule appointments and patient follow-ups

File insurance forms and call insurance companies with questions about coverage

Prepare rooms and ensure supplies are ready, ordering more when necessary

Assist in procedures and examinations

Take and record patient’ vitals; give injections

Conduct lab testing and follow up with results

Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment, and medications

Medical Assistant Requirements and Qualification

2+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital

Strong customer service skills.

Inventory management experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills
