SANY's Citizenship and Science Academy Jr./Sr. High School campus is excited to announce the opening for an Administrative Assistant:
Responsibilities and Duties

  • Organize and maintain an efficient and effective office that handles a variety of tasks for administration, faculty, students and parents of the school
  • Distribute mail and handle correspondence of the office, responding to routine requests
  • Electronically distribute notices to staff, students and parents
  • Acts as a receptionist, greeting visitors, answering telephone calls and communicating effectively
  • Register new students, maintain student records and transfer records for students moving to other schools
  • Assist with transportation
  • Maintain daily attendance data for students in database
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
We are looking for:
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work well under pressure and exhibit a professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
  • Comfortable with Google Cloud
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma required; degree preferred
  • Experience in school setting preferred
  • Fingerprint clearance through NYS Department of Education
