Job Title: System Administrator Location-Type: Onsite, Roseville, MN (5 days/week) Start Date: ASAP (targeting 8/3) Duration: Contract, 1 year Compensation Range: $45.24/hr - $55.00/hr Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: The client is seeking a self-sufficient Level I System Administrator to support a pre-paid manufacturing environment across two facilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for a diverse, blue-collar workforce. Job Summary Support manufacturing floor operations across two buildings, handling Windows environments, access rights, and domain management Troubleshoot Active Directory access rights issues and escalate as appropriate while IAM handles broader identity management Perform light networking and basic PC-level troubleshooting to minimize production disruptions Manage folders, access rights, and domain configurations in alignment with team standards Handle simple software support tasks and resolve day-to-day technical issues independently Cross-train with the existing team to expand coverage and build institutional knowledge Document processes, solutions, and system configurations to support ongoing operational continuity Minimum Requirements: 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator with the ability to work independently Hands-on Windows administration experience in a professional environment Working knowledge of Active Directory, including troubleshooting access rights Familiarity with light networking and PC-level troubleshooting Strong soft skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a blue-collar, manufacturing workforce Preferred Qualifications: Experience with VMware in a light or introductory capacity Familiarity with backup software, specifically Veeam Experience working within ServiceNow and/or Jira ticketing systems Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and innovate within a structured environment
