Job Description
As a member of the Amcor Flexibles North America Benefits team, the Benefits Administrator II is responsible for administration of a subset of benefit programs in their focus area.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • Administrative tasks for all assigned HR programs (may include various specialized HR areas) in United States, Canada and Puerto Rico
  • Maintains advanced knowledge of all HR plans and program designs
  • Reviews employee data forms and reports, interprets entry requirements and completes complex data entry in HR technology solutions
  • Coordinate daily benefit processes
  • Responsible for creating and updating process documents and contributing content to knowledge-based tool for HR and employees
  • Assists in creation of mass communications based on assigned HR programs
  • Supports consistency and applies a continuous improvement framework to program implementation and administration
    • Support Tier 1 with educational opportunities and coaching to broaden/deepen tier 1 knowledge of assigned benefit programs
  • Acts as tier II support for assigned HR programs
  • HR program compliance
  • Participate as a performer and/or project manager on various projects for assigned HR programs
  • Perform routine integration work; including but not limited to launching and troubleshooting of multiple integrations
  • Process benefit calculations, include arrears/repayments, disability plan offsets, etc.
  • Coordinate benefit payment requests, prepare payroll wires and process invoices as needed
  • Lead and execute benefit plan audits, compliance testing, and eligibility inquiries/appeals
  • Drive process changes/implementations in relation to Benefit Administration and other supporting functions
  • Administer trainings/presentations as required
  • Continues to advance Amcor business knowledge in and outside of HR
  • Coordinate government filings and submissions to ensure Amcor regulatory compliance
  • Update plan documentation (SPDs, etc.) to reflect current plan rules
  • Complete annual calculations of various retirement plan company contributions and fund to participant accounts
  • Execute standard benefit and retirement plan corrections
  • Generate periodic financial reporting to internal Amcor stakeholders for budgeting purposes

  • Experience in working with external auditors and government filings
