Position Summary

The Sales Administrator will provide critical administrative and operational support to both Inside and Outside Sales teams. This role ensures smooth order processing, accurate documentation, timely communication, and effective coordination with customers, manufacturers, and logistics partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Inside and Outside Sales teams with all administrative functions related to order processing and customer service.
  • Develop a working knowledge of OCI-GMS's product lines, services, and customer segments.
  • Prepare quotes, shipping releases, order sheets, and related documents using Microsoft Excel.
  • Coordinate purchase orders and product availability with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Schedule trucking and freight shipments to meet customer delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accuracy in data entry, documentation, and CRM or internal systems.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Work independently with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Provide general office support, including filing, document management, and administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain punctuality, reliability, and a high level of professionalism.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred 
  • 2+ years administrative or sales support experience
