Candidates shall have experience doing disassembly and assembly of centrifuges. Colleagues will work in a team atmosphere to repair and rebuild centrifuges. Traveling outside of Decatur is not required. Overtime will be worked as needed. Skill sets for this position includes:Disassemble centrifuges to remove parts and make repairsExamine parts for defects such as breakage or excessive wearRepair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts of the centrifugeClean, lubricate or adjust centrifuge parts.Repair or maintain the operating conditions of the centrifuges to OEM specificationsReassemble centrifuges after completion of inspections or repairsRecord repairs and maintenance performedStudy blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct repair and assemblyRecord parts or materials usedAccurately documenting failure analysis and repair steps takenTest run equipment after repair and take vibration readingsOther Qualifications:Able to work safely in a team environment and be quality conscienceAble to climb stairs and ladders, sit and stand for extended periods of timeAble to use precision measuring tools including but not limited to, Vernier calipers, OD Micrometers, ID Micrometers, Bore Gauges, and dial indicators. Able to lift 50 poundsAble to read and interpret blueprintsExhibit regular and prompt attendanceDisplay strong communication skills (oral and written)High school diploma/GED is requiredADM requires the successful completion of a background check. REF:112841BR Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
