Job description

Drive profitable growth and shape the future of Kiiltoโ€™s Industrial Adhesives business in Finland and Sweden.

Kiiltoโ€™s Industrial Adhesives business helps B2B customers succeed through professional service and high-performance bonding and fireproofing solutions that enable responsible, sustainable operations. We are looking for an experienced commercial leader to accelerate profitable growth, strengthen customer value creation and develop our business across the Nordic region.

Role Overview

As Commercial Director, you will be accountable for commercial performance and profitable growth across the Nordic region, with Finland and Sweden as the core markets. You will lead the regional B2B sales organization, set clear targets, and ensure disciplined execution across the team. Success in this role requires the ability to move seamlessly between strategic leadership and handsโ€‘on commercial supportโ€”whether shaping the growth agenda, coaching the team, or supporting key negotiations and customer cases. You will also be a member of the Industrial Adhesives Business Area Management Team and report to the Chief Business Officer, Industrial Adhesives.

Your key responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the regional commercial team, including key account managers, in Finland and Sweden.
  • Contribute as a member of the Business Area Management Team to drive profitable growth and the longโ€‘term development of the business area.
  • Plan and execute the commercial business strategy, aligning sales, marketing and pricing with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure strategic oversight and excellence in customer relationship and sales pipeline management.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the operational plan, budget, and performance covering net sales, margin, and cost objectives to ensure full alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Utilize market insights, AI and data to guide decisions, uncover growth opportunities, and reinforce existing market presence.
What we expect
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Engineering, Business, or a relevant field.
  • At least five years of commercial leadership experience in B2B, preferably in a relevant manufacturing industry.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a clear focus on profitable growth.
  • A proven track record of developing sales, delivering profitable growth, leading international valueโ€‘based selling and improving team performance.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional networks and negotiate successfully with key clients.
  • Strong people leadership and dataโ€‘driven decisionโ€‘making skills, with the ability to foster accountability and drive crossโ€‘functional collaboration.
  • Practical understanding of CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365), analytics and AI tools.
  • Fluency in Finnish and/or Swedish and English.
Why Kiilto?

At Kiilto, you get to work in an environment that is a fascinating combination of a growing international and downโ€‘toโ€‘earth family business. Our employees appreciate our longโ€‘term approach, open and transparent company culture, Kiilto's team spirit and versatile opportunities to learn new things and grow together with the company. We encourage our employees to bring their ideas forward and develop in our own innovation and training programs. We are particularly proud of the recognitions we have received for our contributions to wellโ€‘being at work: we have been chosen twice as the most active workplace in Finland.

The role is based in Finland or Sweden and requires regular travel within the Nordic region.

Apply by 28 August.
