Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries.

Front Line Leader Responsibilities:
  1. Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities and providing clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations
  2. Supports and investigates situations in which line/equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk
  3. Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable laws
  4. Actively leads risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility by driving prioritized corrective and preventative actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health or safety risks
  5. Lead all required meetings with safety (I.e. Pre-Shift, Department, Change Management, General communication, Town Hall, etc..)
  6. Completes incident investigations, root cause analysis and implements corrective actions accordingly in a timely and thorough manner
  7. Ensures the proper training and development of all assigned employees for whom they are responsible.
  8. Sets goals for their organizational unit; achieves goals and ensures that all employees understand and work toward achieving goals
  9. Motivates and coaches employees through good communication and frequent performance feedback. Identifies and coordinates additional training as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sort and segregate ship tickets, assign shipment routings, contact trucking companies to make sure customer shipments go out on time.
  2. Provide necessary export documentation and QA documents for required shipments.
  3. Insure attendance and employee time worked is kept properly with documentation.
  4. Provide shipment information to needed parties.
  5. Responsible for 5S of office and sample operations area.
  6. Responsible for safety of employees with zero accidents.
  7. Work on special projects and teams as needed to insure continuous improvement.
  8. Printing and processing of all customer shipments with on time shipments that is in the Distribution Centers control.
  9. Provide correct documentation for all shipments.
  10. Make sure direct reports are shipping orders on a first in first out basis.
  11. Communicate with customer service on a daily basis to ensure that the Franklin facility is on target to make monthly shipment dollars if orders are available.
  12. Maintain daily employee time processing and attendance reports. Verify employee hours, attendance and vacation.
  13. Responsible for Sample area making sure 5s is maintained and samples are shipped to customers in a timely manner

  1. Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  1. 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
  2. At least 3 year of experience in shipping. Overall knowledge of general manufacturing a must.
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead others
  5. Good interpersonal skills when dealing with tough employee issues
  6. Must be computer literate and proficient with E-mail and Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
