Job description

Overview: ADF International, a North American leader in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of complex steel structures and modular construction, is seeking an CNC Operator for our steel fabrication plant in Great Falls, Montana. We are looking for reliable candidates who can work well as part of a team.

    • A nightshift differential of $1.50 applies to any time worked after 4:30 pm

General Expectations and Responsibilities
  • Follow ADF safety procedures and practices.
  • Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
  • Can read and understand metric and standard tape measures.
  • Able to run basic IPS operations.
  • Print and organize per the proper paperwork.
  • Basic understanding of reading/interpreting blueprints.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks for CNC equipment.
  • Catch material imperfections in raw cutting material.
  • Follow the order of material that their Foreman has posted.
  • Log and track tooling used on each piece of equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently run CNC equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Obtain ADF forklift certification.

Education, Training, or Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
  • Completion of a CNC Machinery training program preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hours at a time.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel for varying lengths of time.
  • Ability to fully articulate shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist.
  • Must be able to grasp and safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift or carry up to 75lbs.
  • Must be able to work in various conditions (loud, hot, dusty, cold, etc.).
  • Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend on ladder.
