We are currently seeking a Senior Income Tax Analyst – International to support a global organization headquartered in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to expand their expertise in international taxation, compliance, planning, and cross-functional collaboration within a complex global business environment.

Position Summary

The Senior Income Tax Analyst – International will play a key role in supporting the Income Tax Team, with a primary focus on international tax matters impacting North American operations. This position offers exposure to a variety of global tax issues and provides opportunities to contribute to tax compliance, research, planning initiatives, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in corporate income tax, and the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, accounting, and tax functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze foreign related-party transactions for tax compliance reporting.

  • Assist with the preparation of calculations and supporting documentation related to U.S. international tax matters, including foreign tax credits and foreign entity reporting requirements.

  • Support Canadian tax compliance activities, including foreign related-party transactions and surplus calculations.

  • Prepare withholding tax calculations, filings, and payments.

  • Coordinate with Accounting and Finance teams to collect and validate data necessary for international tax reporting and compliance.

  • Assist with forecasting, tax accounting, and compliance processes impacted by international tax regulations.

  • Support transfer pricing documentation and analysis of intercompany transactions.

  • Prepare workpapers, supporting schedules, and draft responses for tax authority inquiries and audits.

  • Research complex international income tax matters and document findings.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate tax processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Assist with special projects and other tax-related initiatives as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of corporate income tax experience.

  • Strong analytical and data management skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

  • Experience with U.S. international tax compliance and reporting.

  • Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations.

  • Experience with OneSource tax software.

  • SAP experience.

  • Public accounting and/or large corporate tax department experience preferred.


Pay Details: $48.00 to $55.00 per hour
