Job description

Our client, an engineering design and consulting firm, is seeking a Structural Engineer in Chattanooga, TN. This position will lead/support the design and delivery of commercial, industrial, and architectural projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop structural designs, calculations, and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction site observations and inspections
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success
  • Manage projects independently (PE candidates) or support project delivery under supervision (FE candidates)
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client expectations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (or FE certification, with ability to obtain PE licensure within a year)
  • Experience with Revit or similar design software is preferred
