Our company operates Residential Treatment Programs for individuals with Substance Use Disorder. Responsibilities
Monitor patients to ensure safety and compliance with treatment protocols
Continuously assess patient condition and communicate critical changes to providers
Place and review lab and toxicology orders; communicate results to providers
Dispense medications accurately and as needed
Take and record vital signs, monitor symptoms, and escalate concerns appropriately
Respond to medical emergencies and execute provider orders
Screen patients upon admission to determine suitability for care
Supervise patient monitoring and oversee medication storage/security
Lead patient meetings or activities in the absence of engagement staff
Participate in quality improvement meetings as needed
Act as supervisor on duty when needed, and assist with oversight of LPNs
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies
Qualifications
AA or higher in Nursing required; BA/BS or higher preferred
Active RN license in the state of employment
2+ years of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
2+ years in a managerial or leadership role preferred
Experience in chemical dependency treatment preferred
CPR and First Aid certifications required
ACLS certification preferred
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs
Passion for addiction recovery and commitment to a drug-free lifestyle
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
