This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide teletherapy from the comfort of your home while maintaining a supportive connection with our detox center team. The structure of our workdays facilitates a supportive environment where healthcare professionals can thrive. Your work hours will primarily be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aligning your schedule with our operational hours for improved teamwork and communication.

• Provide direct psychotherapy and therapeutic interventions for patients with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health, encompassing emotional, behavioral, and social factors to determine their needs and formulate effective treatment strategies.
• Develop customized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect an understanding of each patient’s unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate care and reinforce a holistic approach to treatment.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress through regular check-ins and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, available resources, and treatment options, fostering an environment of informed care.
• Uphold all ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in line with professional standards, ensuring that patient trust and integrity are always prioritized.

The primary focus of your role will be to support individuals in a detox setting, addressing mental health challenges that often co-occur with substance use disorders. Your work will directly impact patients in vulnerable situations, helping them to navigate their recovery journey effectively. You will provide therapeutic support to empower these patients, enhancing their coping strategies and resilience while they embark on their treatment pathway.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring foundational knowledge in clinical practices.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), permitting you to provide independent mental health services.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering psychotherapy or mental health services, particularly in settings related to addiction recovery.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients and collaborating seamlessly with other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, including the ability to perform thorough mental health assessments and to plan effective, individualized treatment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software to maintain accurate patient documentation and facilitate coordinated care.
• A strong understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatments, allied with a compassionate approach to patient care.

• Experience in a detox or addiction treatment setting is highly preferred and will be beneficial as you work with patients in recovery.
• Prior involvement in group therapy facilitation or family therapy initiatives will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
