Finest Medical Care is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. This position offers the flexibility of working from home, utilizing telehealth services to connect with patients. You will have access to a supportive and collaborative team of mental health professionals, working together to provide the highest standard of care. Our work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the specific needs and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to share their experiences and foster a supportive community.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure integrated care for each patient.
• Provide crisis intervention during substance-related emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance to patients in critical situations.
• Educate patients and their families about addiction recovery strategies and available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest treatment advancements.

This role will primarily focus on patients battling substance use disorders, encompassing a range of backgrounds and experiences. You will provide compassionate care and support that empowers individuals to navigate the challenges of addiction recovery, reinforcing their strength and resilience.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Profound knowledge of substance use disorders, including evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy specifically in the context of addiction treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach.
• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines in practice.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological applications.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling setting with a focus on substance use disorders.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development through continuing education initiatives.
