Job description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students in both Adaptive and General Curriculum settings. Located near Dry Fork, VA, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in students’ academic journeys while working in a collaborative, dynamic environment. Start as soon as possible and continue through May 21, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Holds an active Virginia Special Education Teacher certification (Adaptive or General Curriculum)
  • Experience with elementary-aged students (K-5th)
  • Ability to adjust instructional strategies for diverse learners
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Eagerness to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching materials to support multiple learning styles
