Senior Manager - Port Operations Support (HOT)

The Senior Manager - Port Operations Support (HOT) will be responsible for leading a team with multi-functions to support port operations to successfully achieve port processing goals including meeting monthly wholesale objectives, inventory aging management, port campaign management, parts supply chain management, and other non-standard transactions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, KPI development and management, setting up internal controls, implementing technological advancements, and leading team members to materialize on their individual potentials.

$118,000 - $134,000/Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities

  • Wholesale target achievement support
    • Monitor daily production results and analyze shortcoming root causes and produce remediation to advise HOD and RHMs
    • Continuously improve monitoring reports for the daily activities and port conditions to provide actionable information to HMs
    • Parts supply chain management
    • Actively monitor PIO parts supply status and prevent parts shortage and facilitate parts ordering to support production plan
    • Manage parts inventory usage and aging to maintain sufficient level of parts and timely and accurate parts return process to maximize the warehouse usage efficiency
    • Inventory aging management
    • Actively monitor inventory aging to prevent excessive aging based on customer requirements and KPIs
    • Coordinate aging management reporting to executives and customers to communicate improvement progress
    • Port processing quality and campaign management
    • Guide and support the Quality manager to achieve successful port campaigns and quality KPIs
    • Port capacity management support
    • Actively monitor port inventory level to advise potential overflow management to prevent vessel delays and lot congestions
    • Build contingency plans to be executed on demand to rapidly resolve vessel delays, Force Majeure, and lot congestions
  • Non-standard transaction management
    • Coordinate vessel diversion planning and executions to facilitate increasing production unit availability and vessel delays
    • Manage sourcing and execution of off-site lot needs, preparations, and customer proposals
    • Port processing functionality improvement projects
    • Support port system and process automation projects (VLMS, PDA, Production Planning System, ETA, and etc.)
    • Command and control dashboard report enhancement management
    • Capital investment project management to improve port facility capacity and safety measures
    • Support cross functional projects
    • Recommend organizational process or policy changes
    • Develop organizational goals, objectives, policies, and programs
    • Train and cultivate team members to be effective and efficient
    • Instill right values and behaviors for the team members to act properly as a professional
    • Other duties as assigned
