  • Manage, monitor, and optimize display advertising products (ROS, sponsorships, takeovers, video ads, and audience extension campaigns) across site placements and third-party vendors.
  • Coordinate newsletter, eblast, sponsored content, native traffic driver, and fulfillment across internal and external platforms, ensuring quality assurance on client creative. Manage advertising assets, specifications, launch schedules, and workflows.

  • Support GAM entries and reporting when needed.
Marketing and Membership Management
  • Drive Philadelphia magazine and The Philadelphia Citizen’s membership program (Change Philly Movement). Manage the member platform, portal posts, monthly email updates, and marketing strategies for new member acquisition to foster an active, engaged civic community. Staff the membership table at in-person events, turning guests into members.
  • Partner with the creative team to develop marketing and fundraising assets; this includes supporting the COO with an annual calendar of fundraising appeals and coordinating updates to on-site calls to action like donation modules.
  • Update and improve email drip campaigns and automation workflows. Execute creative campaigns to retarget prospects, event attendees, and other who have engaged with either publication.
Data, Analytics amp; Reporting
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using data, KPIs, conversion tracking, and dashboard reporting to optimize digital ad results.
  • Fulfill Client Service data requests on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain the Audience Dashboard, providing monthly reports, campaign-level performance analysis, and quarterly board reports.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years in digital media marketing, audience development, or similar role.
  • Expertise in Google Ad Manager (GAM), Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and email marketing platforms.
  • Foundational design skills (Adobe Creative Cloud) with a strong eye for marketing aesthetics, user experience, and the ability to assess client materials for quality and specifications.
  • Excellent written communication skills for writing clever, engaging member emails, portal posts, and audience-facing brand messaging.
  • Experience managing SEO, SEM, paid social, display advertising, and audience targeting.
  • Comfort with experimenting, trying new marketing tactics, and following data trends.
  • Gregarious, hospitable, and energized by connecting with people around civic engagement, community impact, and media brands.
